The Jyväskylä Festival children’s programme kicks off with the beloved Oikokatu street painting event on 6.7. from 12 to 14, directly after the children’s festival opening ceremony. Throw on clothes that can stand a little splatter of paint, bring your own dish for the paint, and let your artistic side run free!

The end result is an annually changing piece of street art, consisting of every participant’s artistic contribution, delighting citizens until the paint wears off. The fun and lively painting event is free and open for all!
