This summer, Jyväskylä Festival audiences get to enjoy an updated version of Saara Aalto’s atmospheric and glamorous 2019 UK tour concert An Evening with Saara Aalto. The concert includes new acoustic arrangements of Aalto’s own songs, as well as her favourite songs from The X Factor, films and musicals. Through performances of tender ballads and dramatic showstoppers, Saara’s spectacular voice guides the audience on a journey from French cabarets to glamorous Hollywood.

Saara Aalto is a Finnish singer-songwriter, who rose to fame after her success in several television song contests, such as The Voice of Finland 2012 and The X Factor UK 2016. She also represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2018, and has voiced the iconic Princess Anna in Disney’s Frozen. Saara has released seven albums, toured around the world, and performed together with legends such as Andrea Boccelli, Jose Carreras and Adam Lambert.
